Our group was formed in 1930 as a district association of the Cyclists Touring Club (CTC). In those days we covered the whole of Norfolk. Eventually, other groups were formed in West Norfolk and Diss. Until recently the three groups were sections of the same CTC association, but we have now gone our separate ways.
The Norwich group uses Mile Cross Methodist Church as it’s headquarters. We have fortnightly social meetings there on Wednesdays during most of the year. Cycle rides are organised at weekends, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The group is run for the benefit of Cycling UK (CTC) members in the Norwich area, but everyone is welcome.
